Technology as an Example

Technology as an Example

Today, there are several definitions for technology but all of their stems include “experience”. Experience starts with beginning of Earth so, somebody or something come up to Earth for any reason they encounter with experiences. Experience is a term that covers most things from life, science, culture, etc. as well as technology is a core part of it. This means that we, as human beings, experiences something and according to these experiences we give a shape to development of technology to make our lives easier and livable. Therefore, we need to combine technological experiences with our values.

Technological experience has 4 concepts these are

- Compositional

- Sensual

- Emotional

- Spatio-temporal

Compositional means basically set of things that enable us to understand the small details of big picture for continuity.

Sensual can be described as to understand big picture’s design and texture by using feelings with our five senses organs.

Emotional means the value of judgement of the big picture by using our inner feelings.

Spatio-temporal can be described as the affections of time and place on us to be willing to stay at this place and at that moment.

We need to reflect, appropriate, recount, anticipate, connect and interpret these 4 crucial parts of technological experiences to understand whole meaningful expression of big picture.
