EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY

We, human being, are so vulnerable creatures so we need to wear clothes to be able to protect our body, have vehicles to make our lives easier, and we invent something by using technology. As we can understand that technology is crucial part of our lives which is also important in education. There are lots of inventions that are also help education.

For example, the Turing machine of Alan Turing.  Alan Turing was that father of computer science by finding cryptanalyses during the 2nd World war to be able to break German’s codes. The designed a machine that find every problem except halting problem by using 2 digits by giving for true value 1 and false value 0.

So, we need to create an area that we can combine mathematics with technology tools algebraically, geometrically and statistically.

In a brief way, we can describe algebra as the way of thinking and solving problems. It is not just solving equations or problems, it is all about how can we try to understand the world by make connection between our real lives and mathematics.

Ada Lovelace- The First Programmer

Who Was Ada Lovelace? The daughter of famed poet Lord Byron, Augusta Ada Byron, Countess of Lovelace — better known as "Ada Lovelace" — showed her gift for mathematics at an early age. She translated an article on an invention by Charles Babbage and added her own comments. Because she introduced many computer concepts, Lovelace is considered the first computer programmer. She died on November 27, 1852. Early Years Ada Lovelace, born as Augusta Ada Byron on December 10, 1815, was the only legitimate child of the famous poet Lord George Gordon Byron. Lord Byron's marriage to Lovelace's mother, Lady Anne Isabella Milbanke Byron, was not a happy one. Lady Byron separated from her husband only weeks after their daughter was born.  Babbage and the Analytical Engine Around the age of 17, Ada met Charles Babbage, a mathematician, and inventor. The pair became friends, and the much older Babbage served as a mentor to Lovelace. Through Babbage, Lovelace began studying advanced...
